Originally from Jamestown, New York, Ken Schultz has been a resident of the Punta Gorda Isles and Riverwood areas since 2003. Ken brings a wealth of professional experience to his career as a financial professional, having earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Hawaii, attended the College of Financial Planning in Denver, Colorado, and obtained the prestigious Chartered Life Underwriter designation from American College in Bahr Mar, Pennsylvania.

With this background, he worked for over 10 years for several Fortune 500 medical companies and was co-owner and executive of two start-up medical equipment companies. He also spent over 25 years as a financial advisor and is a published author of Wealth Creation & Protection. Ken entered the real estate industry in 2003 and has been a broker since 2005 in both Florida and Hawaii.

As a financial advisor, Ken focuses on offering comprehensive financial and estate planning services. He works closely with his clients to find unique solutions to build a sound financial plan through pairing their personal circumstances and financial goals with his knowledge and experience. He uses mostly safe money, low-risk strategies with the goal of helping his clients create a lasting legacy. Ken helps them reposition moneys through conservative planning that can help with their charitable giving to their favorite non-profit foundation or religious organization.

Beginning in 1973 to 1987, worked for Fortune 500 Companies and became co-owner and Executive of two start-up medical equipment companies, Johnson & Johnson, Ortho Instruments and Delta Medical Electronics, in charge of wholesaling for the eastern US and recruiting and training new and existing medical equipment distributors.

Financial Advisor and Registered Principal of Schultz Financial Services, Inc./ FSC Securities Corp. in Lakeland and Punta Gorda, Florida from 1991 to 2012 and 2014/15, handling client investment portfolios, assisting clients with estate, legacy, and insurance planning, and supervising and monitoring online account activity.

Author of "Wealth Creation & Protection," published in 2005 and 2008.

Current President of Cultural Center of Charlotte County Board of Trustees. In addition, is a volunteer at various church and civic organizations for legacy planning, a past member of Riverwood CDD Finance Board, and past member of the Sertoma Club.
